After almost 30 years of building the acclaimed manufacturing laboratory, Phillips Precision passes the baton into capable hands, as Samson Kay, managing partner of the Weyland Group, assumes the role of majority owner and operator.

While founders Cathy and Steven Phillips will step down from their day-to-day operational roles, they will continue to leverage their expertise as retained owners and strategic advisors within The Weyland Group. Samson Kay brings a wealth of experience to Phillips Precision. Nearly 20 years in the manufacturing industry and master’s degrees in both mechanical engineering and business administration uniquely position him to lead the company through its next phase of growth. His previous successes are evidence of his deep understanding of advanced manufacturing, and his commitment to the values that define Phillips Precision make him an ideal fit for this leadership role.
